G.R.O.W. Athletes is a private, membership-based athletic development league for young athletes ages 7–18, training out of Essex County, NJ. We build strength, discipline, and character on a foundation of legacy — the same standard of excellence carried by generations of HBCU graduates and Divine Nine members.

A League Builton Legacy
G.R.O.W. Athletes was founded as the youth arm of G.R.O.W. Lifestyle — bringing the same private-membership standard our adult community is known for to the next generation. We exist to develop disciplined, confident young athletes in Essex County while honoring the cultural legacy so many of our families carry: HBCU education, Divine Nine brotherhood and sisterhood, and a generational commitment to excellence and service.
Membership is private and acceptance-based. Every family — legacy-connected or not — applies through the same review process used by G.R.O.W. Lifestyle.

This summer’s spotlight focus trains grades 7, 8 & 9 at Iron65 in Newark. The league itself is open to athletes ages 7–18 year-round.

G.R.O.W. Athletes is private and acceptance-based — the same model that defines G.R.O.W. Lifestyle. Families with HBCU or Divine Nine roots are warmly recognized for the legacy they carry, and every family, legacy-connected or not, is welcome to apply for membership through the same review and acceptance process.
There is no cost to apply. Applications are reviewed by G.R.O.W. Lifestyle leadership, and accepted families are invited to enroll their athlete in the program.
